This balm is made with grass-fed beef tallow, beeswax, arrowroot powder, vitamin E, and a small amount of cedarwood essential oil.Tallow is the base. Grass-fed beef tallow is high in the same kinds of fats your skin already makes, so it sinks in and softens dry spots without sitting on top in a heavy film. It also brings naturally occurring vitamins A, D, E, and K that support the skin barrier over time. Beeswax gives it body and a firmer texture so it stays put in the jar and melts slowly on contact with skin, sealing in moisture without feeling sticky. A little arrowroot powder cuts the greasiness so it doesn’t leave a slick feel, and vitamin E works as a natural antioxidant to keep the oils stable.Cedarwood essential oil adds a dry, woody scent—quiet, not sharp—and is traditionally used for its grounding aroma.
